Yep, it's so annoying, Matip will probably turn out the same, a brilliant player we cant get on the pitch

But if he can give us anything for the rest of this season hopefully it's in the next 6 weeks. City then Sunderland 2 days later the squad will be needed. The games around the cup semi are a bit annoying too and no Mane either, Utd away after the first leg and Chelsea at home after the second not exactly ideal after a tiring semi final, Utd have a semi too I suppose but get an extra days rest and a woeful opponent. We need another body in really.

I've mentioned it other threads but ings is a blow too - he hasn't got the ability of Sturridge or mane - but had he stayed fit and got into the squad, then when mane goes at least ings would give us someone with high energy to buzz around and press the opposition back a bit.

Surprised nobodies mentioned how utterly abysmal Storage was last night. The whole side was ****, but he was on another level.

For a striker he sure does spend a lot of time in midfield. We lose all our shape with him in the side and he's only useful as an all out attack option off the bench.

Better yet, we could flog him to China and he can work on his fashion label if he can't raise himself out of more than a trot in a semi final.

Yeah, there was chat about it in the match thread. He was as culpable as anyone for the team looking so toothless last night. Pains me to say it, but he's looking more and more of a liability in the system now his pace and running ability seem to have gone.

Its a pity, but I can't see him being at Liverpool in a year's time. Those injuries have taken their toll.

He tried several times to beat a player for pace, which went spectacularly wrong on every occasion, he's painfully slow now.

You look at the formation we play and our personnel and there's no place for him in the starting eleven, he's now 100% an impact sub. Which is sad as he's still the best finisher in the squad and up there with Aguero in the league IMO.
