That's David N'Gog type stats there.
He may have made 22 appearances but only about 7 or 8 of them will have been starts, the majority will have been from the bench for 20 mins or so
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

      Totally agree

Which further reinforces the fact that he can't be relied upon.

Sturridge of the 13/14 season would be a player to build a team around.
3 seasons on constant injuries make that player a distance memory. The current incarnation shows the occasional flash of genius but i don't think he'll ever be as good or consistent and it's time to move on

Keep. Talent like that we can afford as a luxury, hopefully he feels the same.

According to Soccerway he has played a total of 983 minutes this season
6 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the league totaling 687 minutes and 3 starts and 1 sub appearance in the cups totaling 296 minutes.

4 of his sub appearances were for less than 10 minutes.

Yup, keep. We looked far more dangerous with him in the side. He might not play every game but he's certainly worth having around for next season at least.

If somebody came in and offered £20m would we keep?
Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney

20m is **** all so you'd hope so. That wouldn't even get Troy Deeney or ****ing Rondon now!

His value is about a third of what we would pay for a like for like replacement for his talent.

He's on big money, but still **** all with the cash knocking around the game, the end of season game in Aus £5 million quid, plus one Sturridge goal next season that moves up a place in the league another couple million pays his wage.

Can't we have a squad of 20 somthing next season, than look sell anyone who doesnt make the starting 11 for once.

Probably not. I think he'll want to play every week - but he should know better than anyone that he can't play every week. If he'd be agreeable to staying I'd be made up.

i reckon he will go, sign for west ham [or similar] and hardly ever play for them and we will all be discussing how made up we are to have fluked 30m for him.

I've a feeling he might stay, on his day his finishing is the best in the league and Klopp looked made up with him yesterday.

Anyone else think he's bulked up a bit?
