He may have made 22 appearances but only about 7 or 8 of them will have been starts, the majority will have been from the bench for 20 mins or soThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Totally agreeOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostPlay him home and away vs the ****e sides with a partner who runs for him (Firmino) and he makes the difference. I genuinely think he is worth keeps even if we only get 25 games a season from him.

Which further reinforces the fact that he can't be relied upon.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostHe may have made 22 appearances but only about 7 or 8 of them will have been starts, the majority will have been from the bench for 20 mins or so
Sturridge of the 13/14 season would be a player to build a team around.
3 seasons on constant injuries make that player a distance memory. The current incarnation shows the occasional flash of genius but i don't think he'll ever be as good or consistent and it's time to move on

According to Soccerway he has played a total of 983 minutes this season
6 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the league totaling 687 minutes and 3 starts and 1 sub appearance in the cups totaling 296 minutes.
4 of his sub appearances were for less than 10 minutes.Football without Origi is nothing

His value is about a third of what we would pay for a like for like replacement for his talent.
He's on big money, but still **** all with the cash knocking around the game, the end of season game in Aus £5 million quid, plus one Sturridge goal next season that moves up a place in the league another couple million pays his wage.
Can't we have a squad of 20 somthing next season, than look sell anyone who doesnt make the starting 11 for once.

I've a feeling he might stay, on his day his finishing is the best in the league and Klopp looked made up with him yesterday.
Anyone else think he's bulked up a bit?Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
