Thank christ we only have 2 more games of watching this bloated corpse of a footballer sauntering around the pitch, with his **** flicks that rarely amount to anything but giving the ball away and starting a counter, or the constant dives trying to win a FK, which the ref never falls for and lead to a counter. Then the one thing he can still apparently do well comes to him on a silver platter from Gini.....and he skies it high and wide.

Why does he still play? He offers absolutely nothing. I think Klopp just gets a kick out of yelling at him for 90 minutes
Maybe because he's an intelligent footballer, set up Trent's assist to Salah with a nice back heel, put Mane through for a good chance.

He's not quick or strong enough for us any more but he's not total **** either. A move to Spain or Italy would be great for him I reckon.

Definetly time to go, thanks for the awesome memories Dan, good luck with your next move, he will end up at Aston Villa if they get promoted

          He's A-League standard now mate.

Maybe, just maybe Milan and Juve could resurrect him with their fountain of youth bloody magic spells, but that's about it.

I’m pleased to see he’s remained uninjured for the whole season is it not? I know he’s done nothing but the last few seasons just putting his boots on was fraught with danger.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He hasn’t contributed nothing. Harv has been peddling his agenda on here for ****ing years. He is just not the shadow of the player he once was.

He has been ‘ok’ when called upon, no more than that. Scored a couple of very important goals early in the season PSG and Chelsea, then didn’t feature for months then we were forced to play him and he looked rusty.

We need to be in a position where we can rely on whoever is 4th choice attacker so we can rotate and that when we do get an injury whoever comes in doesn’t feel like a step down. That we lay we can manage the game time for Salah, Firmino and Mane a bit better.

He's worked hard and done his bit. Even if it's just the Chelsea wonder goal - the guy deserves a medal for pushing his body when he could just have left, lived off his riches and praised Jesus until old age.

Hard work and Daniel Storage should never be in the same sentence. You did watch that game the other night didn't you? Did you see Klopp screaming at him pretty much the whole game to chase and run?

He's been with us for 6 and a half seasons now and he was great for the first 1 and a half of those. Since then he's been pretty much either injured or ****, with the odd worldie here and there to keep people onside and remind them what he's capable of.

5 seasons of football as one of our highest paid players and the most games he's played was 20 where he scored a whopping 3 goals. The facts speak for themselves.

If his first season wasn't so ****ing good, he'd have been binned years ago. The amount of **** players like Lallana get or like Kuyt used to get. I just don't get the love for this bloke because he can score great goals 6 years ago. 6 YEARS FFS

I don’t think anyone is expressing undying love for him, almost everyone is saying his time is up here. Maybe the support is just to provide balance to the glee with which you continuously want to knock him down.

He clearly tries hard, he just doesn’t have the pace to get in behind like Mane or Salah. He doesn’t have the confidence in his body to hunt for the ball like Firmino. Since Klopp cane in I think Sturridge has struggled to work out how he fits in to the game plan. He looks a bit lost tactically.

Just as long as Kompany's doesn't win it.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
