The more I listen to him the more I think rumours about his attitude were just that, "rumours." He comes across really well, humble and clearly is a religious man the way he is always thanking God.

I'm more than likely being presumptuous, but it was based on his general demeanor before we signed him. I think it's lip service at the moment - all the positive PR when a new signing comes in (biggest club, dream come true, yardy, yardy, yar) - and he has a certain arrogance around him.
I know footballers need to have that impenetrable self-belief, but I prefer it when it's confidence bordering arrogance, not the other way around.
But he's one of us now, so I happily forget all that when he's scoring goals for us.
