Yeah I wasn't keen on him signing(understatement alert) but he's blown me away and seems really down to earth and focused.I think we got him at the right time, after failing to make it at City and Chelsea he's not going to let that happen again.

Great player, if Suarez does integrate himself back in the starting line up is think we need to keep sturridge central he could be a goal machine for us

His Smile is infectious. How can you dislike him after the start he has made.

            Same here.

I never thought he'd be this good.

As long as he stays injury free we have a very good player on our books and he could make the significant difference this season.

Just the kind of performance we have missed from strikers recently. His general play was probably slightly below where he can be and he was clearly lacking a little match fitness but he still managed to tuck away what was really not a lot more than a half chance.

Reminded me a little of the way Torres would struggle to get involved in a game and barely get a sniff but still come up with an important goal in a 1-0 game.

Didn't he do this in a 1-1 vs Sunderland or Middlesborough?

In 08/09 we beat Sunderland and Villa in our first two games with late goals from Torres and Gerrard.

Saturdays win felt very similar to that, so here's hoping we can replicate that season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

18 games, 13 goals, nothing more to add.

One small complaint, he sometimes holds on to the ball a little to long and all his options get smothered out. BUT! Once he is scoring winning goals he can do what the **** he wants

Got to admit i was dead against signing him but he is an absolutely brilliant footballer and £12m is a bargain. Looks like he has finally found the right club and i can see him here for the next 10 years.
