looking at that Torres video it's startling how good he was and how far he has fallen. Daniel will get quite close to that level but he won't surpass it.

There is no doubt Torres was a special player during his stay with L4 but Sturridge is still developing and hasn't hit his peak yet so it is impossible to know atm if he will or he won't surpass Torres.

Signs are there he is more than capable of but time will ultimately tell.

Torres was brilliant for us bar his last two seasons here. Sturridge has been brilliant for us since he signed. Something like 25 goals in 25 games. Comparing the two, I wouldn't personally put the gap at streets. Torres played in a better team and was a more established striker. Both fantastic signings, but Sturridge is a top striker for me too
