He looked so annoyed at himself in the interview shaking his head and not able to look at the camera when Steve was talking about the penalty. Any annoyance I had went when I saw how destroyed he was over it.

He's some player, he has it all. He was all over the pitch last night, pinging crossfield passes from the left wing, convering at back, interchanging with Suarez and most importantly, finishing sublimely. Sure he can be a bit greedy at times, but on the other hand his fault is his confidence in his own ability - thats a pretty amazing fault to have.

He gave a great interview at the end of it as well, he's an excellent player. I'd go as far as saying he's the best ever number 15 Liverpool have had.

Just watched the interview post match with Daniel and Stevie. The look of pride in Stevie's face when Sturridge was apologising for his reaction when subbed was gold. He's really maturing, almost world class already.

The redcafe shaggy is an immature, brainless twerp. It took all of a week and a half to work out it was not our Shaggy.

I think he needs a minor fine tune . A tweak. At times he gets greedy and picks the wrong option. There have been countless absolute world class strikers who've done that. Most of them in fact.

I think all he needs to go on to be world class is stay fit to be honest. His talent and hard work will get him there with ease. He's a natural.

Brilliant striker who I never ever thought would be this type of addition to our team but I do agree.

That being said, we could say the same thing about Luis who also occasionally gets greedy but that is (for most part) the trait of all successful strikers.
