      Not sure the top end was our problem that year but Suarez, Sturridge and Torres together when Nando still had a soul would have been a wonder to behold.
      A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

                  Too many draws (and bad luck / corrupt refereeing) was a problem and Gerrard and Torres had a couple of injuries, so even having one quality attacker on the bench that wasn’t Robbie Keane or N’Gog would have made a vital difference IMO.
                  If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                    Just one of Suarez and Sturridge (as they are now) to give us an option in attack would have been the difference.
