Luis is an incredible player in creating things for himself. Every game he has at least 2,3 very good chances to score but unfortunately over the last 3 he didn't do that.

I expect them both to continue to score and Luis goal total will improve as well as he is too good of a player for this drought to continue regardless of where BR wants him to play.

Not just that, but Sturridge is a constant as far as recognising a team mates contribution, you only have to see him with Cout the other day after that pass.

I think Barclay is just paid and encouraged to talk complete ****e and generally diarrhea all over the page just to be controversial. As you can imagine it comes very naturally to him and he is most skilled at it

well that's a completley different question all together.....

personally i'd say overall the 08/09 team looks a bit stronger - purely because of mascher/alonso in midfield, plus a more solid defence, and torres hitting on the break

Pretty sure Maxi came in the season after (H&G's January investment to ensure champs league qualification- on a free- got Europa league).
