But i dont think any team has ever finished a PL season with they're players occupying 1st & 2nd in the goalscoring charts.

That's what shocked me! Just such a weird thing to get published in a newspaper. You can smell the desperationOriginally posted by RedReet View PostEspecially as Sturridge gave Gerrard a big bear hug afterwards too.
Why did the ****er write it though? Why would he want to annoy a player he'll probably be cheering in a few months time and is key to any hope England have of having any success in Brazil?

Oh yeah he'll definitely still be in the goals, just don't think he'll be as prolific as he was when he was up front on his own. Great that they both share the load. Two of the best strikers out there at the moment and we have bothOriginally posted by Mostar View PostLuis is an incredible player in creating things for himself. Every game he has at least 2,3 very good chances to score but unfortunately over the last 3 he didn't do that.
I expect them both to continue to score and Luis goal total will improve as well as he is too good of a player for this drought to continue regardless of where BR wants him to play.

Neither of those partnerships have done it in the league, Cole and Beardsley for Newcastle in 93-94 are the only partnership to have done it (in a 42 game season).Originally posted by magicalbarnes View PostSutton / Shearer. Fowler / Collymore?
Chelsea had Drogba and Lampard with more than 20 in the 2009-10 seasonThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
