WHY IS DANIEL STURRIDGE THE ONLY HIPSTER FOOTBALLER?

Great article and a very analytically insightful explanation of something I've often contemplated. I've often also thought about why so many footballers marry so young and often to some very seemingly trashy women. Fits in very well with this theory--an emotionally stunted young man presumably thinks about love and marriage as a pre-teen might: get married at 20 to the most stereotypically attractive woman you can find within your small local pool.

Also sturridge is the man. Glad LFC can lay claim to football's only "hipster"

Minging game yesterday to be fair to him. Couple of decent (half) chances that he was just impatient with. Found it hard to find any room apart from when the game relaxed a bit in the second half.

Every forward goes through games like that at times though, so no big deal. Clearly wasn't happy with himself coming off the pitch, but he'll be back against City.

West Ham defended him really, really well. Frustrated him and seemed to knock him totally out of the flow of the game. Not sure City will be able to do the same to him and Suarez unless Kompany can clone himself before the game. Sturridge will be eyeing up Demichelis from the kick off
