Will he get more love this season with Luis gone? It'll be fascinating to see.

      Damn well deserves it.

Not only from us though, if an Arsenal/Scum english player was scoring that many, it would be a media wank fest!

I think people tended to forget how good he was because he was in the shadow of a Anfield great. Suarez did so much, and scored so many that he was left aside.

However, we would be crying out for 20+ goal a season striker and we had 2. Hes a proper forward. But even yesterday I heard people questioning him. Asking why people let him go so easily.

I dont really know what he needs to do to prove people wrong.

Yep. Why not? He's helped us achieve more than Aguero has helped City.

36 goals in 50 games is a ridiculous strike rate from a player who doesn't just stand around in the penalty area. And had Aspas and Moses as partners when Suarez was busy eating people.

I might say Sturridge is a better pure striker, but Aguero is a more rounded player. Sturridge is improving many areas of his game.

This is what i'm talking about!

Aguero hasn't contributed half as much as Sturridge in this league, yet the media hold him up as some sort of Maradonna like player!

He's very good, but not that good, yet. imo.

Didn't Aguero win them the league on the last day of the season 2 years ago?

think i heard that to, Like it was his fault that city/chelsea never gave hm a chance

does this all stem from the supposed arrogance of moving from City to Chelsea?

He seems a proper good lad!!

Aguero has 18 goals and 6 assists in his last 24 games. Not bad, and certainly not to be dismissed.
                      Oh I don't know.

It was Souness on Sky Sports. I guess he had a point 18 months ago when he signed. But not now, especially after the last season he had with us.

To be fair Souness was questioning him in the past. He said back then there must have been a reason why teams were willing to sell him. He was suggesting there was something in his behaviour he's changed since joining us. Not that out of order in context really.

Yes we know this, but it's still not enough for him to be rated so highly, imo, he's playing for City for starters, has come on as a sub many many times and taken advantage of a tiring defence.

So a title winning goal, that alone doesn't imo give any indication of his overall ability.

As i've already said, he's very good, but players with just as many great stats as his and better don't get the credit they deserve.

They'd make a hell of a partnership. Actually, fantasy football talk like that normally sets the mouth watering, but it wouldn't be as good as what we've had all too recently!
