Will he get more love this season with Luis gone? It'll be fascinating to see.

I think people tended to forget how good he was because he was in the shadow of a Anfield great. Suarez did so much, and scored so many that he was left aside.
However, we would be crying out for 20+ goal a season striker and we had 2. Hes a proper forward. But even yesterday I heard people questioning him. Asking why people let him go so easily.
I dont really know what he needs to do to prove people wrong.*Except Michael, who died.

Yep. Why not? He's helped us achieve more than Aguero has helped City.Originally posted by dom9 View PostBetter than Aguero?
36 goals in 50 games is a ridiculous strike rate from a player who doesn't just stand around in the penalty area. And had Aspas and Moses as partners when Suarez was busy eating people. One tit for another.

I might say Sturridge is a better pure striker, but Aguero is a more rounded player. Sturridge is improving many areas of his game.Originally posted by dom9 View PostBetter than Aguero?"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

does this all stem from the supposed arrogance of moving from City to Chelsea?

It was Souness on Sky Sports. I guess he had a point 18 months ago when he signed. But not now, especially after the last season he had with us.Originally posted by red g View Postthink i heard that to, Like it was his fault that city/chelsea never gave hm a chance

To be fair Souness was questioning him in the past. He said back then there must have been a reason why teams were willing to sell him. He was suggesting there was something in his behaviour he's changed since joining us. Not that out of order in context really.Originally posted by Alex View PostIt was Souness on Sky Sports. Not bad, and certainly not to be dismissed.
So a title winning goal, that alone doesn't imo give any indication of his overall ability.
As i've already said, he's very good, but players with just as many great stats as his and better don't get the credit they deserve.

They'd make a hell of a partnership. Actually, fantasy football talk like that normally sets the mouth watering, but it wouldn't be as good as what we've had all too recently!Like blood on iron
