Technically his shooting is very good, which is why he scores some screamers, hit set-pieces and has a lovely cross, it's just his composure at time that lets him down IMO.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It's almost a shock it wasn't Sturridge who got the winner.

        2 appearances without injury

We're definitely a lot more dangerous with him on the pitch. I think it's his presence, directness and pace. I think that teams are a lot more afraid as he's a genuine goal threat. As a result our other players are also more potent. For example the way that Borini almost scored after the one-two which put him on goal. Our other players seem to have more space too as he's keeping defenders busy.

Fingers crossed he stays fit for the majority of the remainder of the season. So important to us.

Similar effect that Luis had on the team, now Sterling and Coutinho are stepping up a level so they can hopefully take an advantage of Sturridge and how he keeps the opposition busy. Was a great touch for Borini as well, little bit more composure from Borini and he could have scored. His presence is also in the box, where none of our other "strikers" want to be.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I would do exactly the same too.

Except i'd be in rhythm. (well, it would feel like i was to me).

Sterling can't dance! except when it's around opponents!!

Even a rusty, just back from 5 months out version makes such a difference. Did some awesome stuff. The goals will flow very soon.

That back heel was amazing, gutted it hit the post.

If anything deserved to go in....

Him and Ibe can have a good cry together post match, they've both been recently robbed of a glamour goal by that pesky post.

3 goals possibly up for goal of the season had they all gone in, including this Markovic effort.
