Its ****, but it makes Brendans life easier IMO. Stops him having to find a way to fit everyone in.
Sturridge should go away and spend time working on stopping these injuries. Wrap him in cotton wool and give him the best chance possible of smashing teams apart next year.
What about Dzeko, would anyone fancy us making a move for him and would he come to us?
Would get us goals at least and he's very rarely injured.

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
Made of glass. Need two top drawer strikers in the summer.
FSG, from an accounting point of view, must be seething at the return on a weekly basis and it won't be cheap to have other options in play next season.
We'll add this to the pile of things unravelling this season.
So, Zaf gets his job back ?

Near top earner wages out/limitation on wage spend elsewhere/probable insurance premium hike etc
Oh yes, and add in drop in potential transfer value if we ever decided to get rid.
Its not hard to see factors like this being a cause for concern at some levels. Its not exactly scaremongering to suggest, from a business point of view, they may be balancing the pros and cons. Good old value for money logic.

looks like Sturridge could be the new Michael Owen.....not the awesome 18 year old version but the crocked to **** 27 year old version....
We have Origi coming in the summer.....for me we need to supplement that with someone else like Vietto as well. I think Brendan intends to eventually go back to a 4-3-3 formation with 3 wide guys in the front 3 - these could be Ibe, Sterling, Markovic.....with Lallana and Coutinho also possibles (although hopefully Coutinho will end up in the middle as the most attacking central midfielder - our Iniesta so to speak)...
If we got someone like Vietto or Lacazette, then they could play in a wide role as well as through the middle - just like Origi can.
