I don't see how 4-4-2 (with or without a diamond works for us, I can't see us playing a DM such as Lucas, AM such as Coutinho and 2 wide players more likely a 4 of Lucas, Milner, Henderson and Coutinho (or similar) which offers no width from midfield, which means we are relying on fullbacks to provide width. There was always someone injured last season, but it would be typical that now for once we'd get an injury light season with all that cover.
