No chance- they won't rush him. Doubt we'll see him make the bench for a few weeks yet

Worth having him on the bench just to give them something to fear.

Pointless if we actually need someone to change things. They'll know he's not ready yet too.

Had almost forgotten he played for us. Can't wait to see him back.

That's a face that would scare anyone. But it must be frightening Utd fans for sure. The last thing they need is us having another attacking option available. One that is undoubtedly better than anything they've got.

If he is only just back in full training it'll be a few weeks before he gets any game time in the first team, he'll be brought back slowly, reserve games, time off the bench etc
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Agreed, I hope he doesn't play against Utd and is eased into Europa/cups. Just the fact he's fully training with us and might, just might, have solved the root of all his injury evils will have Utd fans shuddering.

They forgot about him as much as we did. Probably more so. They are our direct rivals for fourth and this is the last thing they want to see after the transfer window they've had.

Don't care when he plays as long as in the time he's given he can do a job. He's not a play who can ever be criticised of a lack of confidence, so the occasion won't bother him. Purely down to fitness levels now.

Europa makes more sense in that I would think he'd not be fit enough to play a part in a league game. Europe is a bit slower paced and less intensity so would likely be a better fit for an introduction.

So then, here we are again, another season down the line, **** loads more money spent and once again the whole season depends on getting this lad fit and firing.

                        Yup it's ridiculous.

What's ridiculous is everyone thinking that he's a messiah and that we'll be better with him back. No offence to Daniel but the problems go far deeper

The midfield balance imo is the source of the problem in the setup. They arw not helping the defence and giving nothing to the attack. It's the way Brendan is setting us up... Or Not setting us up for that matter.

Rumours he starts tomorrow. I don't think it'll be a diamond though. I think he'll play as a wide forward, on the right in a similar way Coutinho did against Bournemouth.

I then fancy Lallana will play on the left and Coutino will play just in front of two from Can, Milner & Lucas.

Hope he's not been rushed back. Rodgers is gambling.
