****er Hodgson strikes again. Sturridge should never have watched that England match.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Why risk him? If it's minor and he'll be back next week then no problem. Would much rather that than another 9 month stint on the sidelines.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
Maybe after 20 games back in the side you'd tell Dan to man up and play. But so soon in to his come back you can't take that risk- especially if you're Jurgen and its your first game in charge.
Can't see any future for Sturridge with us sadly. Not because Klopp dislikes him but because either he will be injured or a few games in from just recovering before the next injury strikes.
In both cases he will not be able to gegenpress. In a strange set of circumstances we may end up with only one fit for purpose striker by January. And that being our traditional fourth choice.

Fabio Borini is cursing his decision to leave right about now. New manager & no fit strikers. He just may have got a start

By all means moan if this is the case at the end of the season. He had a serious issue that continually affected him that has now we are told been fixed. He got a minor knock in training and there is no way it should be risked. Every player gets similar knocks.

Pretty much. I have my doubts over his fitness, I think we all do, but this knock is a totally separate incident and irrelevant.
