Thanjk you.

I would say come the end of the season, if he has not played a certain % of games, as much as it pains me to say either sell or offer him a new amended contract based on his fitness .. we cannot afford to be paying top dollar for a player most likely not available to play .. shame he has been one of my favourite players in recent memory ... anybody know about this latest injury
Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015 #****CITY
As good as he is on his day, the fact that he has about 4 of those days a year means that he is not going to be an attractive signing for anyone - at least not anyone that DS would consider going to.
Coupled with the fact that we gave him a 5 year £150k per week contract this time last season, means we are stuck with the guy.

Good idea. Hopefully he will think "you know what, LFC shouldn't have to pay me £150k pw for the next 4 years when I am always out......so how about I just get paid when I am fit instead"
Maybe at the same time we can convince Southampton to reimburse us for Lovren and Lallana because they are actually both ****in ****e.

Liverpool's 26-year-old striker Daniel Sturridge, who is out injured and yet to play for new manager Jurgen Klopp, has had his "attitude and desire" questioned by ex-Reds striker David Fairclough. (Talksport)
Jurgen Klopp has ruled out a swift return to the Liverpool line-up for Daniel Sturridge – but insisted his fragile striker’s latest problem will not require surgery.
The Reds boss has yet to see Sturridge on the pitch during his three games in charge, with the 26-year-old suffering from a knee problem following a training ground collision with close pal Jordon Ibe.
Klopp insists Sturridge’s problem is “not serious” but believes he will need time back on the training pitch before he can be considered for a return to the team sheet.
The German spoke shortly after leaving Sturridge in the gym at Melwood on Tuesday with the Reds’ head of physio, Chris Morgan.
Asked to clarify the exact nature of Sturridge’s injury, Klopp said: “As it often is in football, I don’t know exactly. I’m not really sure that I saw the one-on-one with Jordon Ibe when they came together in training.
It’s something like a knock on the knee, and now there’s a little bit of fluid inside. He can go, he can walk, he can swim but that’s not enough for playing football.
“There’s fluid in the knee, not too much, that’s why we can say it’s not serious.
“We don’t have to think about surgeries or things like this, no, no, no, but he needs time. We play every three days.”
Despite the continued absence of the man upon whom so much of Liverpool’s goalscoring hopes are based, Klopp is keen to focus on those players who are available rather than those who aren’t.
He insisted he was well aware of Sturridge’s injury-hit past but still needed to learn more experience with the player.
Klopp added: “What I learned when I was younger, it doesn’t help if you talk about players who are not available.
“No he’s been out for three games. He trained but he’s been out for 10/12 days. And when he is back then he has to train, it’s not possible training and then the next day he can play. That’s not how football works.
“I know about his history with injuries of course but I have no experience with these things with him especially. That’s another thing I have to learn but for sure if he is back, he has to train, and if he can train then he can play – before this we don’t have to talk about this.” link

Sick of hearing this. Seen other people saying "it's all in his head".
What, his knee is in is head? Weird.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
Didn't Brendan suggest this though? Gerrard also says it in his book too, so it may not be as daft as it sounds.
Gerrard essentially says that some players will have no problem playing with a knock but Sturridge is different and really needs to feel 100% fit or will pull out of the squad. He said he had to literally beg him to play in the United game where he scored and we won 1-0
So there is an element of it being mental, in that he could actually play with some of the injuries he's been out with

After all the injuries Sturridge has had its only natural he would be more cautious than most and want to ensure he is completely fit, Wouldnt say its a mental issue more a sensible one!!
