... And that Rafa never calls or texts him

Top player when fit or rather top player when he decides he's fit enough to play.

Capable of being one of the best forwards in Europe but rapidly getting to the stage that he's not worth holding onto IMO.

Though Lord knows who would buy him - we desperately need Brendan to go to a club with money and a reckless desire to spend it: Aren't QPR being mentioned: they'd be perfect.

Which is irrelevant as he's not giving an opinion, he's saying that he was told by someone at the club that Sturridge had been cleared to play but the player was in two minds. Either he's a liar or there is some disagreement at the club on the matter.

Kenneth's lost it - he'll be all listening to Katy Perry. He probably doesn't do banter anymore

Mirror - Daniel Sturridge has stepped up his training programme - and that could put him in contention to face Manchester City. Sturridge will test out the hip injury in specially arranged sessions this week & could join the full sessions if all goes well. Sturridge will progress this week from running and kicking to sessions with the squad during the international break.
(Thought he had a knee injury?)

Getting a vibe for a stoppage time winner at City then he does the dance in Raheem's face.

Get him fit then do not play him, sell in January and buy Vardy just as his goal scoring drought starts.

Really? I dreamt of being a writer when I was a kid, but I'd have dropped it like dodgy curry if some-one offered me the means to retire within the year...

One Saturday back in the good old days Phil Neal had an elbow in the face and suffered a fractured Cheekbone, he had an op to put it back together, then on the Wednesday Bob Paisley sidled up to him whilst he was watching training at Melwood, How do you feel? he asked, Ok really Boss, so against medical advice he played the next Saturday and went on to extend his unbroken run of playing 365 games without missing one.
