I still think a fit Sturridge is almost irreplaceable, a 'broken' Sturridge I don't see being anyone willing to pay £25m+ even knowing that if they can keep him fit it's a bargain.

Of course we know that, but other team's management/fans look at it from a panic perspective. They will want to believe he's the answer and they can fix him. Just like a girl would.

Take it from our perspective, despite our misgivings we still believed/hoped Balotelli/Benteke would resolve some of our striker issues. And we paid top dollar on that belief. Nobody ever learns really.

Not that I agree with the above as personally I think it's a tad harsh not really knowing the facts but if I had as much time off as Daniel then I'd not be being paid now.
