He gets paid to train and try and get himself fit right? It's part of the job.

Because it's a nothing piece from the Sunday Mirror attributed to a journalist with no links to the club.Originally posted by Fredo View PostThere's nothing new in that article.
When a couple of papers start running it and it is coming from Joyce, Bascombe, Barratt etc we should probably take a bit more notice.

I read everything you say in Joe Mangel's accentOriginally posted by Harv View PostKlopps worked out this prima donna big time. I bet Storage absolutely hates having to actually put a shift in at training. Cant even string a few consecutive days training together. He's an absolute joke.

Daniel Sturridge [He's back!!!!!....or is he?]
Personally, I'd take anything over £15m for a crocked Sturridge and hope Klopp can talk a decent forward into joining on loan for the remainder of the season. There'll be more choice (and budget) in summer to buy top quality. Something is almost certainly better than nothing - which is what we have at the moment

Seriously, who is going to pay over £15m for a player who has been out for over a year? (Other than Liverpool)
Its not going to happen, we might as well get the best out of him when he does come back, rather than flogging him as soon as he's able to put a few games together. He's one of the best players in the whole league on ability, and he's signed a long contract.

I wouldn't sell him. Even at 3 games a season he's miles better than anything else we have. All well and good getting money for him but then you have to replace him with top quality and that won't be easy or cheap. And you just know he'd suddenly start playing every game if we sold him. Keep him, when his contract runs out he'll be on a pay as you play.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
