Looked very rusty and understandably so as he hasn't got much game time. I just don't get the critiscism of him, he's an outstanding player when fully fit. Given game time he will inevitably score goals.
As regards the Swansea game, yes his first touch which is usually flawless.. was way off, doesn't put the work rate in of Firmino (who does!) & he does definitely look like he has lost that yard of pace. I still believe he is one of our best players & one of the best strikers in the league.
He must be as frustrated as anyone not to be getting as much game time as possible but IMO Klopp is managing him well, whether he likes it or not his body needs to be looked after. A short term annoyance & IMO his goals (which will come) will be pivotal for us this season. When the cup games start happening and the league games get closer together, he'll get his chance.

I'm just glad we don't have to rely on him anymore. Nothing against him but we can certainly cope without and if he did break down for a few months it isn't going to derail our season.
He's a great finisher but i'm unsure if he can do the supersub routine - from a mentality POV he seems to want to be the main man rather than a team player.
It wouldn't surprise me if he wants to move on after this season.

it is nice not to have to rely on one player anymore. Bout time everyone start chipping in.

i think he doesn't fit quite in at the moment. he seems to be making the runs for himself, not to create space for others. he looks frustrated if he doesn't get the ball. he tends to slow our play down. i think he doesn't yet get that he's not our main attacking outlet anymore and that he's got to run, move and hassle for the team first and foremost.

Maybe he's just having difficulties adjusting, I've been critical of him in the past, but wasn't it against Leicester when he started and was full of intelligent movement? He's capable but he needs to stop dropping deep and needs to make more direct runs.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
