The Southampton games sums Sturridge up, good and bad.
Brilliant goal, some excellent movement, instances of being selfish (should pass to Allen for 3-0) and instances of not working hard enough.

Personally I can accept all of that if he's played with a partner, an Ings or Origi who do the grunt work in the Klopp style of play, pressing, shutting down and allowing Sturridge to be that extra 'luxury' player.

Problem is how many times will we play with an out and out 2 up front? I'd say very rarely.
That then puts Sturridge in an impact sub / squad player role unless the workrate, desire and application to press comes into his game.

I don't think it will but let's see if he does it more towards the end of this season as he gets fitter

Let's hope we're not getting paid for him on a pay as you play basis.

Lots saying they want to sell him. Not for me. I don't get it tbh. If there's been a fall-out and something has to give, fine, let him go. But otherwise, what the ****?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I'm still on the fence. He's got enough games to sharpen up, and adapt to Klopp's methods. I'd rather not sell him, but there's something not quite right.

I think there may be some truth in the fall-out stuff, but there are a severe lack of top quality strikers out there, and the ones that are likely to be available (Morata) aren't cheap.

There's always players out there, you just got to know where to find them.

If we sell him, we wont replace him with somebody of equal quality. The only benefit is that they will play more games than he would. I'd keep him

I dunno, you always get the feeling that another long lay off is around the corner, in fact, I'm surprised he hasn't picked up another injury. Can't live like that.

We all know that once he signs for another club he will stay iinjury free

Depends who we have in mind to replace him, their are very few strikers out there with his ability, so I'd be very loathe to see him leave. I definitely would not contemplate selling him to a team in the PL.
