Questions that should be asked are does Sturridge suit Klopp's style of football? Is he willing to play back-up to the main striker? Are the club happy to keep him as a backup on such wages etc etc...

We'd all keep him to be fair if we thought he'd get a full season without any major injuries, it's not like fans have a sadistic vendetta against us having a great striker at the club. But he won't, he'll break down in pre-season with a return date in October, which will extend to early November. He'll make a comeback and score in mid November and then break down in training and be out until Xmas. It's sad but that's the more likely thing to happen than him playing 50 games and scoring 20 goals.

Iprefer the lesser goals to game ratios of Suarez, Torres, Owen, Fowler and Rush.
