An Everton once told me that Danny Cadamarteri was better than Michael Owen. They are clueless
This city has two great football teams – Liverpool and Liverpool reserves

I remember an Everton fan saying that Jelavic was better than Suarez
*Except Michael, who died.

And the one decent striker they’ve had in PL era that they could argue was better than ours (Lukaku), they all claimed was ****.
I’m seeing a pattern here.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I once told a Gooner mate to get the **** out of my car because he was insisting Scott Parker was better than Gerrard

He put in a shift after coming on tonight, and caught the eye a few times chasing back towards our goal when we were on the back foot.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Him and Allen coming on was the catalyst tonight. Done fantastic for the winner.

Yeah both players changed the game. Allen helped anchor that midfield and shore things up, whilst Sturridge's movement was amazing.

He was great today. Probably the difference between both sides. Whatever his flaws might be, we clearly need to keep him.

I don't think he will to be honest. I'm okay with that, he is still feeling his way to full fitness.

Origi took a knock so Sturridge to start but I'd start him anyway. He's getting back to full sharpness now, unlucky not to have had a hattrick today.
Not a chance I'd sell him.
