Why say a line when you can say a book..? 😍 I have to read it in my head in a german accent... this is getting embarassing.

Either way, Sturridge will come good. Needs more starts against weaker sides to get a bit of confidence.

I like to see him, Firminho and Mane interchanging.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Ah well. I haven't noticed it myself but if that's true then just let the cunts get on with it. More interesting to talk about Sturridge himself than talk about people talking about him.

It's funny, we could do with a dose of his lethal finishing ability, but he is not up to speed with some of the essential elements of playing in this system at the moment. If that changes, then we've got ourselves a hell of an armoury.

Really? That's a strange comment I think. I read it that most are only questioning his ability to play his role in the side since his injuries.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Right but they relish doing it, they take time out from their lives to go on an Internet forum at every opportunity to bitch about one of the most talented players we've had and how he's either (a) crocked; or (b) doesn't fit their **** half-baked perception of "klopp's System".

I come on here too, but I'm - I really hope he gets back to his best level. I'm scared that he might not, but I'll ****ing support him all the way rather than be an internet cunt who logs on to do him down all the time.

            YNWA and all that.

I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

People go on about his lethal finishing ability but he's fluffed plenty of chances that, had it been another player, we'd be saying Sturridge could finish..

Oh boo hoo. Nobodies relishing the fact that one of our most talented players is cooked. We're just stating the obvious. Why put your head in the sand and say you hope he's going to get back to his best level? He's not. His legs are now clearly gone and he was already weak mentally.

He's been either rubbish or injured for three seasons now....and the times he's not one of those two things he's been a mopey prick with a face like he's just eaten a footlong turd sandwich, like last night. Sitting on his own over in the corner moping when we're 2-0 up and flying and everyone else has a smile on their face ffs.

Yep, he's had more than his fair share of opportunities this season and bollocksed all of them. Touch and speed is gone. The fitness excuse can't be used anymore either. He's had a pretty clear run for quite a while now

                      Er hang on a minute.

There are too many factors at play for anything to be obvious.

And I'd seriously question 'injured or **** for 3 years'. I seem to recall whe he came back he was always immediately firing either scoring or playing well. It was always a dissapointment when he broke down again rather than well he was **** anyway so who cares.

Have an opinion but don't write a player off due to some distorted perception.

Everyone was **** again united until he went off - but that's because the formation then changed; with coutinho moving further up. Any striker would have struggled up to that point.

With the front 3 of Coutinho, Firmino and Mane we show alot of fluidity and movement and they can all swap position and play equally well, I think that we lose that when Sturridge plays. I don't think that he can match their energy or build up play. Also when Sturridge plays he becomes the focal point of the attack because he is more a goal scorer than a creator and our play changes to try and get Sturridge to score, when he doesn't play there is no focal point of the attack - which sounds like a bad thing but the front 3 share that responsibility and are selfless in the way that they do it. I like Sturridge and at the start of the season would have prefered to play with an out and out striker but I don't think you can argue with the system the manager is playing. I think that those 3 will be first choice and the only way I can see that changing is if one of them gets injured or if the goals dry up.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                          Agreed.

Bit of a catch 22 though because with games I think Sturridge could adapt.

I think Studge has shown already that he cannot adapt and we do need another player who can slot in freely to one of the chosen front 3's roles....not too sure whether this is Ings at the moment but think he we be a better option at doing g so than Studge.

Our alternative should be Origi as he offers that pace that Studge doesn't and brings a different type of threat for late on in games or perhaps against less organised teams.

Don't get me wrong, I think Studge has been a marvellous player for us and in the right set up will be a marvellous player once more but he has had plenty of time off the pitch and in training to adapt and embrace the new regime and style but it just ain't him.

Excellent player but no longer first choice. Must be frustrating for him (especially as he's 27 years old - in his prime). I'm sure his agent will look for a transfer in January but I don't think Liverpool/Klopp will sell.
                              Another MASSIVE game

There's plenty of ppl that just want to be right & not look foolish for comments that they've made but deep down they really do want us to win first & foremost & if said player contributes that's ok too. I'm with you though 100% & I don't give a **** if I'm wrong & a player proves me wrong & does well if I've doubted their pedigree. I don't know if Studge will ever be as good as he was several years ago for us, in fact I do doubt it but I'll happily have egg on my face if he proves me wrong.
