I don't think his touch or his speed have gone. His burst of pace was evident when he assisted Mane for a goal, and first touch is something that just doesn't disappear. He doesn't (yet at least) really fit into a high energy, pressing style.

At present he seems to be proving to be a player that needs to have the setup tailored to his game rather than somebody who can adapt to the setup. Whereas someone like Firmino could fit in anywhere. Only time will tell and I like to think Klopp still has hope for him to adapt. Some players take more time.

Much better today but he had the advantage of not being part of the first team formation so could play his own game to a degree that wouldn't be possible if coming in for one of the "fab four" that said massively wasteful in front of goal.

He definitely benefitted with a partner next to him, which a few people have said for a while. Not sure he can play that formation on his own. Firmino certainly offers more at the minute.

            Was brilliant tonight though.

He needs someone doing his running for him, the **** he's not arsed with, Origi does that. They always do well together. He's still not getting a look in ahead of Bobby, Phil and Sadio though.

One thing I noticed watching the spurs game, he puts bugger all effort in to win the ball back, particularly compared to the rest of the forwards/mids. He certainly doesn't go in for 50/50s where a tackle would be required. I reckon this is one of the key reasons he doesn't suit the system and is no longer considered a 1st-teamer by Klopp.

I dunno if he made a tackle tonight but in his previous minutes this season he hadn't made one. Not a single one.

I noticed him pull out of a couple towards the end of the match as spurs were pushing for an equaliser. I don't get the impression he has that kind of fight in him.

I heard that once he didn't help an old lady cross the road. He's not a "Klopp player" blah blah blah.

He won the game for us but apparently doesn't run around enough.

Could / should have had more, he's shown that he is still capable of putting the ball in the net, but I don't think that that has ever been in question. The question is about the rest of his game and ultimately whether his goals are worth more to the side than the all round contribution of someone else.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Plays ****ing ace in the attacking third but lets highlight the negative every time

When we played Leicester he was great as well , actually seemed to be free with his movement tonight and when he is so natural that he doesn't get marked

They are when he scores two and you win the game 2-1.

All thats a given but it appears to be that he needs to improve his workrate if he is to become first choice under Klopp

I understand that like in previous games he was pedestrian, but he actually scored two and his movement was electric, you could sense it in the crowd when him and Divock got the ball we were instantly lifted.

Hope he can come round to Klopps thinking and put more consistent performances in.
