Thanjk you.

solanke will give us more than studge will, and we could always get one of the kids on the bench for some sub time.
I'm not having that. Solanke is a talent but the drop off in quality between him and Firmino is pretty big imo. Think about the champion's league games or domestic games where we may need something extra to get us over the line, I'd rather have Sturridge coming off the bench over Solanke all day long. He's still the best finisher at our club. There's no question he'll be sold in the summer but to do it now and not replace him given the competitions we're still in, is daft imo
Agreed. How would Solanke take a big name replacement coming in though? The reason he came here was because he thought he would get more game time than at Chelsea. A proven replacement for Sturridge would surely dent that?
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.
Solanke seems to have done well at youth level but in his cameos he looks way way off the level we need. Works hard, maybe trying too hard but early days for him and is not at the quality of even Sturridge.
Both Solanke & Sturridge need more game time to be fair.
Looks comfortable in our first team. Bit like Crouch when he first signed, playing well but just not having the luck in front of goal.
Was thinking the same re Crouch but he had proven himself at senior level just not as a Liverpool player yet. I think Klopp’s easing Solanke in well & he’s under no pressure as yet.
With Origi out on loan, if we were to let Sturridge go that would leave us with Solanke and Ings as cover for Firmino, which I don't think would be sufficient, Solanke is fine as an option from bench or in the odd game, but if Firmino gets injured I wouldn't want to rely on him. Ings is a similar story he is unproven at LFC and after such a long injury layoff he can't be fit enough to play week in week out.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I don’t think Solanke looks way off at all Dan. A goal or two would do his confidence the world of good.
He is suffering from a case at the moment where he is trying to hard. No doubting there's a player there alright and a goal would do him the world of good. The step up is massive to first team football, I still would have Sturridge over him any day.
I think Sturridge is desperate to go to the World Cup. He's 28, and with his loss of explosiveness, he may feel it's his last chance.
With Ings possibly going out on loan too, it'd leave us short, with Big Dom.
It's going to be interesting for sure, because unless Klopp's got a big surprise up his sleeve in terms of purchasing a striker (or a loan), then we'll be quite short.
Oh Danny boy, the goals, the goals ain't flowin
From the mighty kop down to the Annie road,
Oh Danny boy I think you know you're goin
To poor old Stoke or maybe Birmingham.
Sturridge is finished IMO. Besides with Salah we can play him as the goal threat and often do, albeit off Firmino but he could play off others as well.

I agree about the WC so I’d sell Studge & keep Ings in the wings tbh.
If decent offers came in I'd sell both players. Even good loans at this stage.
I'd probably look at bringing in another forward but we haven't given either many minutes even during this hectic period of the season so it may not be necessary.
