Something seriously wrong with that. Would Utd/City have allowed talent like that leave so easily? I know Utd sold Ronaldo but I can't help think more could have been done in regards to this group, bar Sturridge.

I've never really got involved in the debate regarding the owners, but showing more ambition may have led to these guys sticking around a bit longer.

I can see from Sturridge's point of view why this move makes sense, but from our point of view what the hell are we doing. Yes he hasn't played a lot but we're now two attacking players down for the rest of the season if we don't bring anyone else in. Suddenly we have no depth in attack.
