    9 mill and non performance based add ons

    Injured for 5 games we get 3 mill extra

    Injured for 10 games we get 6 mill extra

    Injured for 15 games or above we get 9 mill extra

      Lets be honest... who would pay us 10m plus his wages?

      We would be lucky to give him away at this stage... he needs to prove his fitness, which he has failed to do for years now.

              28 years of age, incredibly talented guy for 9m, sounds absolute madness in this market but inevitably he will break down. Personally I would loan him to them, maybe playing in the heat will help his fragile body.

                Isn't he out of contract in 2019? So we either sell him now or he leaves for nothing in a year. No point in loaning him out.

                  He has quite literally done nothing (other than chew up valuable club resources) since the last World Cup. Just think about that for a second and let it sink in.

                    Are you saying that he intentionally injures himself so he can enjoy some time on the physio table and all the hard specialist type training he has to perform to build himself up again to full fitness???

                    You have lost your grip on reality.

                    The demands of playing in PL seems to be much for his body. I think all would agree with that, including Daniel. That doesnt put him on a scrap heap. In my opinion he would be better suited to La liga. Less intensive style of play, less physical and its piss easy to score goals there. He would be fantastic addition to any of the teams outside of Barca and the Madrids

                      I don't see where Harv is insinuating that at all. You can't argue that he's contributed little on the last four years.

                        Less than a goal every three games, whilst averaging only 22.5 games played per season.

                        Still better than a £9m player probably, but agreed he's nowhere near the levels he was before the injuries ruined him.

                        Big shame though, what a talented player.

                          You're including the one season he was actually fit in those stats. Yeah, he was ****ing great. Absolutely deadly. That was 4 seasons ago though. Im talking since then.

                          Since then according to Wiki - 61 games and 17 goals. Half of those goals in one season. His past two seasons have been dire.

                            These statistics make him an excellent squad player. He seemed to function well injury wise when used as a squad player.

                            It has to be so frustrating for him, he wants to play regulally but his body isnt up to it. If he accepts his bodies limitations he could play for many years to come in a lesser role
