I don't know what was in Willian's mind to say definitively what his intention was. However there's absolutely no question in my mind Sturridge meant anything other than a shot.

You've made the same distinction with more words.

Willians was a jammy fluke and beat the worst keeper in the world.

Studges was a precision placed bullet that beat the most expensive keeper in the world.

Any goal scored with Mig in nets doesn't count.

It’s the nicest looking goal we’ve scored in a while.

                It’s beautiful

Totally undefendable. And for him to produce it with a minute left in an important game having just come of the bench.

4 goals already this season is an amazing return.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

And without being overly cruel I think that was more than Ings and Solanke combined last season already?

There was a really good close of of the ball nestling into the top corner, the look on the faces of the home fans was hilarious

I think it’s fair to say that neither Ings or Solanke have the ability of Sturridge. Neither of them have got that finish in their skill set (few do tbf).

If Sturridge stays fit he will be a real asset this season.

Neither have remotely close to the ability of him but attitude (?) or fitness have always seem to cost him. This season he just seems to be happy to be part of it all and it contributing massively already.

I'd say that's more than fair.

So now we have two top class backup players in Sturridge and Shaqiri. Shame we couldn't have signed Fekir, we'd be unstoppable!
