For me his performance today highlights the difference in level required between starting a game and coming on as sub for the last 15 mins against a tired defence. He might get the odd goal in those circumstances but he's shot.

Is the lack of rhythm down to him not playing enough, not being fit enough or not being arsed enough

I think personally he struggles when he starts, his body is ****ed, he cant run, cant make sprints. The only thing he can do is come on in games for a cameo and we have to hope he hits a worldie (as per Chelsea) or otherwise his general contribution will be negligible

Every time Klopp is asked about him it's something along the lines of "there's no timescales on when he'll be back".

I'd be surprised if he's in a match-day squad this season. Hopefully he'll be ready for pre-season.

It's a weird one though. I wonder if they are taking the opportunity to get him ready for the Premier League physically, extra weights etc.

I honestly thought he was an embarrassment last night. He couldn't have given two ****s, such a shame as he's a talent. Even if you are not playing ****, the very least you can do is work hard. I think he's done here.

I am not sure about him not caring

Think hes no longer capable of playing more than a handful of minutes, both physically and mentally

I think the thought of him injuring himself hampers him mentally on the pitch
