He has to be a bit complimentary about us and the situation.
He's hoping to get Downing on loan, so he has to keep schtum.

Absolutely brilliant from the Mansfield boss. Stubbs desperate to bait him in to slagging Suarez off and he's done the complete opposite!

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Bloody hell. ESPN have literally just had the Suarez incident on a loop about 9 or 10 times - even when Mansfield's manager was refusing to call him a cheat and saying he was a great player. The ESPN coverage was absolutely disgraceful. Paul Cox wanted to talk about the match and his players but Ray Stubbs just kept mentioning the word 'cheat' and trying to drag the conversation back to Suarez.

Barnes makes an interesting point that if a defender on the line handballs it - should he be expected to tell the ref?

I agree with his comments, but it doesn't matter the press won't care about any objective analysis. FergieScum will be talking **** this week of course.
