Another sensible (if slightly random) take on it:

LFC fans have never sung that ****e and never will - it was definitely the Mansfield fans.

I was at Mansfield so didn't hear the TV commentary but ESPN have spoken to Jon Champion after he described Luis Suarez as "a cheat".

                    Oh I don't know.

ESPN have issued a statement regarding the comments Jon Champion made about Suarez.

“We take our responsibility to deliver the highest standards of coverage to our viewers. ESPN’s editorial policy is for commentators to be unbiased and honest, to call things as they see them. Inevitably this can involve treading a fine line on occasion, especially in the heat of the moment. Comments during the Mansfield v Liverpool match caused offence where none was intended and we have spoken to our commentator about this incident.”

Good. Doesnt change the fact he said them, or the fact I have cancelled my ESPN subscription.
                        *Except Michael, who died.

**** off champion, well in ESPN

Doesn't Suarez have a tattoo on his wrist he always kisses? Someone needs to educate these journos.

His daughters name on his wrist, he kisses his ring finger for his wife.

Perhaps it would be more in keeping with the game in this country if instead of paying tribute to his wife and daughter, he celebrated with some dancing or perhaps a double back flip.

Former referee Graham Poll says Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is blameless for his handball in his side's FA Cup win over Mansfield as the goal would have stood even if the Uruguayan had owned up to the offence. (Daily Mail via Beeb gossip).

Well in Poll, but isn't the Mail the same paper Lawton writes for??
