I would go 5 3 2 for this due to no real left back. Carra in centre of agger and skrtel. Johnson and downing at wing back. Lucas and Henderson sitting with Gerrard in front. Suarez and sturridge up front. Would fancy our chances.

United have threats from all over. Van Perdue and Kagawa will be dangerous. You can see van Perdue finding space on the left where wisdom should be and cause us many problems. Kagawa will work off him and find plenty of space in between our defence and struggling midfield.

Then we've got to find a way to keep Valencia quiet. If Johnson goes left then he will have his hands full with the its winger. Id be tempted to play wisdom on the left and leave Johnson on the right to cause their defence some problems.

Lucas has to keep Kagawa quiet and we need to stop Valencia putting in those very dangerous crosses from the right. We also need to find a way to allow Johnson to play at right back.

Johnson is almost as effective attacking from the left. I pointed this out before the Sunderland game and again he should have had a few goals and assists having had one ruled out, a few close efforts and an assist to Allen hitting the post. IMO he'll have more opportunities getting at Rafael who won't like defending on his weaker foot when Johnson cuts in.
