Ibe is great talent and it will be interesting to see if he will be moving up as quickly as Sterling did.

To me he looks more complete player than Sterling.

In terms of McLoughlin offensively he is very good but I have concerns about his defensive qualities.

Seriously? You think he looks better than Sterling at that stage? Never seen him myself until tonight.

I have seen him regularly this year and imo he has more in his game than Sterling at his age.

Tons and tons of tricks, very good dribbling skills, very good shot from the distance, can score with either foot, good crossing abilities, pacey etc.

Will he turn out to be a better player I don't know but imo he is more complete footballer at this point in his career.

Only watched the 2nd half, didn't get to see Sinclair, how did he do?

                McLaughlin was outstanding.

Coady for me won't make it, something about the way he plays just not technical enough.

Ivey looked really exciting and Yesil scored 2 so can't complain, done his job.

Have we qualified as the best third placed team then?

Going off last season, McLoughlin could most definitely mainly because his pace allows him to get back in position. But I have not watched a huge amount of reserve/u21 games this season.

I agree with the Ibe comment. He looks much bigger/stronger too. He keeps the ball close to his feet when he dribbles - something which Sterling doesn't seem to be able to do

Think Sterling has better tactical awareness than Ibe.
                        Are we winning?

Maybe he has at this stage, but that is debatable. Ibe was doing his defensive duties well tonight and to me looks like he will be far more penetrative in the attacking third where it really matters.
