They wouldn't make it close to Arsenal, Chelski and the Scums teams. Gonzalez needs a clip around the ear to get himself sorted. I can't see us winning the title for some time unless serious recruitment is done and I mean QUALITY recruitment. I'm afraid our squad reads a little too much like Houllier's did. Quantity not quality. Only summer signing good enough is Kuyt.

A bit of perspective here me thinks.

At home we look great

Away we look like a team made of up 11 Christoper Reeves.

I dont think its a lack of effort by the players as that is more than good enough at home so for me it has to be tactical and how we play against home opposition.

Rafa needs to start playing away like he does at home and thats going for it. I'd rather we lost going for a win and trying than trying for a draw and hardly turning up.

Zenden is not good enough for Liverpool sadly. He's a good player but not top 4 player. Hyypia is a blocker, plain and simple. I would play Aggar now. He looks the part and will help with the missing link between defence and midfield instead of hoofing it upfront.

Its time for Gerrard to play central with Pennant on the wing. Jermaine needs games in the right position with the team geared up for attacking football.

We need to play Gonzalez on the left and stick with it. Consistent team is a must now.

What a disgraceful display from us today. We lacked direction, drive and determination and made to look as if we are a conference side. Zenden, im baffled how he even makes the ****ing bench and then theres Gonzalez who was nothing but a daisy in the ****ing wind. Sorry but Rafa has royally ****ed up once again away from home and in a crucial match, im starting to question his ways again and if he has what it takes to get the players going.

Why the **** Gerrard wasnt played centrally is beyond me! Zenden offered no more than to make up the 11 and was pathetically caught out in possession like he had no legs! So ****ign sick of seeing us play this way, we are capable of playing so much better! Now i know what its like to be a city fan.

At least we've played the top three sides, bolton and Everton at home this season now, the tricky encounters over and done with, sadly without even claiming a single point.
