I dunno, it's not as if the games have been thick and fast, we're playing once a week at the moment. I guess we'll find out in the post match comments.

It's strange that he's chopped and changed the backline though as he was saying this week that our back four has had to make do with too many changes which have been one of the reasons why we've conceded so many goals.
      Are we winning?

The Europa games aren't for another month. We are in a position where we need to be winning these sort of games. And as good as our recent form has been against them Norwich aren't a push over and should test us on occasions. Dropping your best defenders for games that you need to win is not a good idea.

He's a professional athlete. He should be able to play in one game a week. The only way he shouldn't be playing is if he is injured. And if he is injured Coates should be on the bench.

Are well selling Assaidi or what?! There is no point in even having him in the squad.

**** knows. Looks like he'll be here until at least the summer.

Suso missing from the 18 again.

That team should be good enough to dispatch Norwich.

              Of course.

Well it wasn't as if he was getting anywhere near the team anyway.

Not for me it isn't. Borini and Sterling are obvious, but I'd have Suso (not even on the bench) ahead of Downing. There's also the never-used option of playing Gerrard wide (infinitely preferable to ****ing Downing).

Don't think playing Gerrard wide is a good idea. He'll have to cover a lot of ground and I think it'll be wasting his game. He should be in the middle, either behind the front man or as part of a midfield three. Just my opinion and I think he hasn't played there for what, 6/7 years?

Suso hasn't done anything really this year, whilst Gerrard will never play wide. Suso can play in the cups. Downing I feel has played well lately, so deserves his place in the side.

I predict Stewie will have a storming game today. He'll score too

Suso is well rested, and is our future. Much more to be gained from playing him and developing him rather than flogging a dead horse like the hopeless Downing.

Don't understand persisting with someone who has no future. Suso had a good game against Norwich last time. Much more beneficial playing him.

Skrtel out is a baffling one too. Our best defender last week. Out he goes.

Rodgers was talking about personality during the week, or our lack of in the side. I think that's why we're seeing Carragher today.

By virtue of being the fittest player.

Allen, Sterling and Boroni would / should all be chosen ahead of Downing when fully match fit / not needing a rest.

Not good chopping and changing the backline. Downing seems a regular

No doubts we'll see Borini for 20 or so

If anything has perosnality in our squad, it's the CB pairing of shaved tattooed monster bad-asses we have in Skrtel and Agger. Put Carragher on right wing instead of Downing then, wouldn't make much difference in terms of performance quality.
