I dunno, it's not as if the games have been thick and fast, we're playing once a week at the moment. I guess we'll find out in the post match comments.

The Europa games aren't for another month. We are in a position where we need to be winning these sort of games. And as good as our recent form has been against them Norwich aren't a push over and should test us on occasions. Dropping your best defenders for games that you need to win is not a good idea.Originally posted by Nigey View PostThink he conceded the free kick. In any case, he might be knackered and Rodgers might be rotating his squad ahead of the Europa games, we don't really know. It's not a bad team.
He's a professional athlete. He should be able to play in one game a week. The only way he shouldn't be playing is if he is injured. And if he is injured Coates should be on the bench.
Are well selling Assaidi or what?! There is no point in even having him in the squad.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostHow the **** has Downing kept his place after that ****ing no show last week? The times they are a changin'.

Not for me it isn't. Borini and Sterling are obvious, but I'd have Suso (not even on the bench) ahead of Downing. There's also the never-used option of playing Gerrard wide (infinitely preferable to ****ing Downing).Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostHe was better than Sterling. Borini isn't fit to start, bit of an obvious one reallyThanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Don't think playing Gerrard wide is a good idea. He'll have to cover a lot of ground and I think it'll be wasting his game. He should be in the middle, either behind the front man or as part of a midfield three. Just my opinion and I think he hasn't played there for what, 6/7 years?Originally posted by Shaggy View PostNot for me it isn't. Suso hasn't done anything really this year, whilst Gerrard will never play wide. Suso can play in the cups. Downing I feel has played well lately, so deserves his place in the side.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostNot for me it isn't. Suso is well rested, and is our future. Much more to be gained from playing him and developing him rather than flogging a dead horse like the hopeless Downing.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostSuso hasn't done anything really this year, whilst Gerrard will never play wide. Don't understand persisting with someone who has no future. Suso had a good game against Norwich last time. Much more beneficial playing him.
Skrtel out is a baffling one too. Our best defender last week. Out he goes. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

If anything has perosnality in our squad, it's the CB pairing of shaved tattooed monster bad-asses we have in Skrtel and Agger. Put Carragher on right wing instead of Downing then, wouldn't make much difference in terms of performance quality.Originally posted by Nigey View PostRodgers was talking about personality during the week, or our lack of in the side. I think that's why we're seeing Carragher today.
