I agree, he was decent against Norwich but he hasn't started much this season, obviously skrtel didnt have a good one in the cup but i feel its a bit trigger happy to drop him for carra against Arsenal, they are going to have alot of pace in podolski and walcott and im not sure he can handle them these days.

Henderson has to start in this one, i'd like to see this squad:

      --------------Sturridge------------------
      ----Suarez-----------------Borini----------
      --------------Henderson------------------
      ---------Lucas--------Gerrard-------------
      --Johnson----Agger----Skrtel----Wisdom--
      -----------------Reina------------------

but think it will be downing instead of borini. Sterling to come on in the 2nd half around 60 mins if things aren't going well, same with Allen.

Nervous about the game tonight. In someway the biggest game of the season. We really need to get something out of this to push for fourth and Arsenal are beatable, but far from a given victory.

A defeat and we are close to being out of the race, with both Arsenal and Spurs getting to far ahead.

The key for me is how our defence will match up against Arsenal. Really needs a performance in the back, and we need Lucas at his best.

We have the attributes to shake the Arsenal defense for sure, so that's not my main worry.

I predict a close game tonight...

The talk seems to be about the CB pairing for us but I'm more concerned with our fullbacks tbh. I'm much happier defensively with glo Jo on the right.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

A win tonight and Rodgers will have taken 37 points from his first 24 league games, same as Rafa Benitez in his first season.

I agree, Skrtel and Agger is a given anyways, and they have functioned well for a while. I rather think it's the lack of backup than the pairing being the problem. And I agree with GJ on the right is much better, but we are short on LB's unfortunatly. Rather have Wisdom covering the right back, than throw Robinson in on the left in this big game. It's really the midfield that needs to get back covering better, especially on the breaks, and Reina needs to get back to his best ASAP to cover the last problems in the back.

A win tonight and Rodgers will have beaten as many top 10 PL sides as Rafa Benitez had by February in his first season.

But that was unanimously accepted as a terrible league season and a stick often used to beat him.

Hopefully Rodgers can win the Europa or keep the league form improving and get us in the top 4.

The next two are massive. Nervous about tonight, and not confident.

Tonight is much more important than the City game IMO. It's our rivals right now, and City is purely bonus points if we can get any, as it is for any side besides United perhaps.

I'm with you regarding confidence about the game, especially considering the results against top teams so far this season, but it's a winable game. That's what I'm comforting myself saying

Yeah it's the counter attacking side of Arsenal that worries me. And it worries me a lot tbh.

And we wound up beating five top ten sides that season. Win these next two, beat Spurs, Everton and Chelsea at home and it's equalled

If we can beat Arsenal by 4 clear goals we'll jump them into 7th spot (or is it 6th?)

I think it before every game we play but Suarez could really ruin their back four.
