If Barcelona get near to those figures I can imagine us having second thoughts
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Apparently £13.5m of that was add-ons.

      No thank you

90mill is a joke amount after they got close to 200mil for one player. When we sold Torres we got shafted with Carrols fee because we had the money. We either shaft barcelona for 150mill or **** off.

Have to agree with all of this. He's worth 120 minimum and I also believe if they bid that we'll sell. To me in the current market he's worth 150 million if not more. I can imagine he's told the club he wants to leave as well.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Was just about to say the same, yet it feels too low

The market and the game has just gone to new levels of crazy.

He'll still be worth the same next year, we don't want to sell, he is central to Klopp's plan and he's on a 5 year deal. There isn't a price I would be happy to sell for at this stage of the window. If they offered £150m I'd understand why the club would sell though.

We won't sell. Not in this window.
              Are we winning?

According to Marca, Dortmund have told Barca' that Dembele will cost them €150m. Makes Phil worth Neymar money.

Story also says we wouldn't reject 100mil euros

If we're up to €120m now they need to get updating.

Sounds like Barca have brought in Peter Ridsdale to do their negotiating

Wow, that would be a £100m profit on the player (wages notwithstanding) we bought from Inter for £8m!

What other monstrously profitable transfers have happened in the past?

Bale to Real Madrid is one (£7m -> £90m)

I just googled Ridsdale to remind myself of his calamitous ways.

According to wiki, not only did he **** up Leeds, he almost got Barnsley liquidated and then managed to increase Cardiff's debt from around £35m to £66m in less than 4 years. Astonishing.
