I would blame his entourage for being in his ear the whole time as they saw the $$$$ coming from Barca & thinking we were an easy touch!...Some of them will have their fingers burnt by this saga!

Well unless he is a total simpleton, then they could only push him in a direction he was interested in going in himself anyway.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

So what I've gleaned from reading the last several pages is that Barca have become a steaming pile of wank, who conduct their transfer negotiations by saying things like "Hey guys we've drawn this really cool line in the sand, would you mind terribly stepping over it? Otherwise we'll take our bat & ball home & won't play with you anymore."
Meanwhile Phil has turned into some kind of Shakespearian amphibian " A toad or not a toad' that is the question......"
Is that the gist of it?"If Ritchie Blackmore fell into a vat of ****, he'd turn out to be wearing a rubber suit." - Ronnie James Dio

Well, the conduct of Barcelona over the last couple of weeks have shown to the rest of Europe that their facade of an all conquering smooth running heck of a club to a bloddy shambles with shabby underhand tactics in the transfer market has blown me away!
Also Coutinho would have learnt who has his best interests at heart in this whole messy saga & "kop" on by start letting go a few of those no good shenanigans.Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

I remember Gerrard wanting to go at one point, didn't he come back and score a hattrick or something against the mighty Total Network Solutions? Coutinho can come back, all he has to do is play even better than before.Originally posted by poorscousertommy View PostKeep you red tinted glasses on but don't try pretend the transfer request didn't happen!!!!* The above is posted in my opinion. Having said that, Coutinho has been used by Barca and if he wants to be upset with anyone, he should be upset with them. Aside from the **** offers, their tactics were really underhand.
They played Dembele and Coutinho against their clubs, never intending to sign both, just the one that succeeds first in ****ing up his relationship with his club. I really hope Dortmund don't give in either.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

We've got money. That isn't what's stopping us from bringing players in. Having more money sat in the bank is unlikely to help prize the likes of baby Keith and and the big Dijk from their respective clubs (as having loads of dosh doesn't appear to have worked for Barca and wee Phil)It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.
