The parasitic agents are underlying problem here. They are just whoreing players around to milk as much money out of the game as possible.

The footballing authorities worldwide need to ban any payments to agents other than the fees payed to them by the players they are acting for. These parasites are also responsible for the hyperbolic transfer fees. The bigger the fee, the bigger the cut to them

I think this is hopefully a watershed window. Coutinho, van dijk, sancchez have all acted like ****s and as the clubs are a lot richer now have taken some power back.

Will be interesting to see how the big players react to this.

I am sure the agents are no Angels but we maybe need to look at what fuels this growth! Agents can't generate the revenue, they just tap into the wealth pond created by ................... well ...... you and me !

      The following from 2015.

Revenues were up 5% to £5.6bn for the six-month period. It said there had been a significant group wide reduction in churn – the proportion of customers leaving the business – standing at 9.2%, its lowest level for a decade.

I am not sure Sanchez had acted ****tish has he? He is in his last 12 months and he wants a change. Unlike Phil (and VVD) who signed long term deals only recently !
Sanchez didn't refuse to play for them either !

He is also very ****ing sad apparently, even thought Brazil won and he scored.

VVD has not refused to play for Southampton btw. He's been banished by the club.
              Oh I don't know.

I hear you fella. However, if a player uses an agent he should pay them a realistic rate. Nothing more, nothing less

                      I counter with this:

And yes, I have my own opinions (forum innit).

Sometimes I agree with people, and when I don't, I'm happy to put forward my own view. But I don't go round round shaking everybody's hand when I agree with them either. How tedious would that be?

                      Oh I don't know.

I don't like regulation generally and tend to prefer market forces however, in this case you may have a point !

I bet you were frantically looking around for that !

I can't be arsed to check the thread now but I am sure the transfer request was much later in the VVD v Soton standoff. Either way, he behaved like a **** and that is difficult to defend!

And I handshake with people for a couple of reasons, A) It is a courteous, quick and polite acknowledgement of a fair point often well put.
                          B) I tend to prefer the .... why use ten words when one (or a handshake) will do approach, Although I have to admit, that does not always work with me!

I definitely remembered reading that interview (which is why a I posted what I posted), so a quick google search came up trumps pretty quickly.

                            Anyway...
