If goes in Jan, and it seems like it could well happen, it'll be for £130m+ addons

It would be worth us selling him cheaper but for him to move in the summer, IMO
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

That's a very good point and well worth debating

Believe a January move when I see it.

The only way that would happen is if he turns out to a be a Cnut after all.

And I really don’t think he is.

Barcelona are ready to pay £140 million to break Liverpool’s resolve to keep Philippe Coutinho as the January push to secure the Brazilian begins.

The Spanish side hope an initial payment of £105 million, with a £35 million in add-ons based on appearances and success at the Nou Camp, will make Coutinho the third most expensive footballer in history behind Paris Saint Germain duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Liverpool do not want to sell the 25-year-old and are making strenuous efforts to keep him. Despite ongoing talks, the player remains intent on heading to the Nou Camp in January.

Liverpool are not chasing replacements at this stage - they have made no contact with Monaco regarding summer target Thomas Lemar - and are focusing on convincing Coutinho he can achieve Champions League ambitions at Anfield in 2018. At the moment, they are not succeeding in persuading him.

****ing don't then. How hard can it be. He's not going to down tools. Tell him he can go in the summer ffs, problem solved.

It reads as simple as this. I'd hold out to February, no way is he not going to play through the rest of the season.

**** him it will make winning NO6 in May all the more sweeter after we have knocked Barca out in the semi's.

That's the thing Leyton, he can only win the CL with us this season, he's zero chance of winning it anywhere else. He's a bit of a div not to want to stay until the summer

We cannot stop Barca to bid for him. We can say no we don't want to sell when they do. There has been no bid yet apparently, so the papers still have to write something and it probably isn't very difficult to glean information from the parties who are making most of the noise at the moment. That article from Bascombe is mostly a carbon copy of yesterday's.
                      Are we winning?

So if a player goes on strike obviously the club doesn’t pay him but do we then get reimbursed from the player? Like a % of his signing on fee or something?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

They're cunts. All they need to do is make a bid but instead they talk about making a bid as if it's some sort of legal case they need to prepare. Massive massive cunts whose agenda is to drag this out in the hope that we end up going to them with a demand so it looks like it's us desperate to sell. Biggest bunch of cunts in history

He's not on strike I'm pretty sure of that.

                              He's definitely on strike then

Exactly he can watch from the stands as Mo and Co knock his beloved Barca out of Europe and then watch as Klopp and the lads lift No6.

He is where he is today because of Liverpool as he was nothing but a bit part bench warmer with a bad ketwig at Inter.
