Although Scolari only announced the overseas-based players today so there might be a domestic no.10 named. Doubt it though.

It is insane that a player so gifted can't get in though. Their first choice striker is Fred FFS
Does seem unfair. I suppose he might be suffering from that dip in his reputation having been heralded as a wonderkid previously. Plus the Premiership is probably less on the radar for them. Shame.

He is young though and had some injury problems this year . Fantastic player though. Unbelievable eye for a pass and technique. Think he is vital for that formation to work
True. I think that will happen less as he develops. But tbh the system should be more resilient to that happening anyway, we shouldn't be that difficult to isolate.

It soooo deserved to be a goal at the end of that. Sensational stuff.

Just thinking that. This and the Suarez volley would've been the best two goals of the season, which is crazy when you think of some of the goals Suarez has scored already. Shame Henderson's finish was so ****. He really needs to improve that. Practically every facet of his game has improved so there's no reason to believe he can't improve his finishing either.

I could just watch the Suarez volley on repeat for an hour, it was that amazing.

Henderson just needs that bit of composure and he'll add goals, I'm sure. He's such a capable player and obviously grafts in training. It'll come.

Oddly Coutinho looks quite a bit bigger than the other kids in that futsal video (or whatever it's called!).

Does this remind anyone of the goal we conceded in the CL final in 2005?

If Coutinho keeps this up, what do we think his market value will be?

Put it this way if someone offered us £25m now I'd hope we'd turn it down in seconds flat.

Yup. He's pivotal to the way we play and I don't think there's an easy replacement (perhaps Willian).

If anything it looks like Henderson gets there a split second too soon and has to check his run. If he'd taken it more in his stride he might not have had time to think about it and just slotted it home.

I've said it before, probably in this thread. He's our next £50m+ player without a shadow. Not this season. But once he gets goals into his game, which is inevitable, then.

Was watching the vid you quoted, thought exactly the same thing having just watched the footsal one earlier.

Only then did i look down and see what you'd wrote.

But it was just like it, he takes the ball in his stride..or even with his stride if that makes sense like it's stuck to his boot, he does it so often in that footsal vid, the space he creates is amazing.

                                Has a great smile too!
