Are Brazil in danger of missing out the next round with their loss to Peru last night? if so, then he will be home nice & early to take his family off for a nice holiday & out of sight of the ****ing intrusive media to come back nice & refreshed to see a totally different squad ready to us to another level...

Serves them right for bottling it with Menezes.

The tapping up has already started, so if the clubs can unsettle Coutinho, they'll expect to get him on the cheap knowing we have no CL football. That probably explains PSG's paltry opening offer. I think £40m is a more realistic figure, although I wouldn't even sell him for double that.

Hard to compare him to Sterling too as City paid the English premium for him and it was widely accepted that they overpaid at the time
          .
Sad but regrettably true these days I know clubs all do there tapping up earlier than the Transfer Window officially opens but, I wish uefa would do something about it once and for all all be it advantage to whatever club involved.

Firstly, I think the players mentioned were quite happily looking for a way out of the Club any way bud except, Suarez who would have stayed if we had won the Premership that year as he was genially gutted but, the rest I agree with you when you say "The Yanks seen Dollar Signs".

Secondly, we were given the money to spend to replace those players they sold but, we foolishly didn't replace them with the same quality and instead replaced them with average players instead

I think Suarez would have gone to Barca no matter what happened in 13/14.

I was joking mate. Any fool can see that the players (or agent) forced through the moves and that FSG reinvested the money back in the squad, so to suggest that they are responsible for our best players leaving is ludicrous.

Same situation as with Ronaldo at United. FSG (and Stevie G) did well to get another year out of him and get him to sign a new contract to maximise profit.

Yeah he was never going to be a long termer at LFC unfortunately. Aside from being too good for us, the south americans seem to see Barca & Real as where they want to be.

I think you've totally missed the sarcasm in the original post here!

Yeah Yeah, backtracking now. Was just watching Philip Green being questioned by MP's which reminded me of this post tbf, spilling his water and asking an MP to stop staring at him.

Payet keeps going the way he is and it won't be long before PSG switch focus to him rather than Phil. Hopefully.

They were already linked before the Euros, from what I read.

If PSG want Coutinho, tell them we want Veratti in return.

Methinks that would end any discussions with them
