His vision and passing are incredible for his age but I also love how calm he is when being closed down, always making space for himself to make sure he plays the right pass.

However how many times over the past few years have we looked out of ideas going forward against teams that offer you space in this league? He's exactly what we've needed. Another wide player and keeping hold of Suarez could see us rival most teams in the league for a forward line.

Yep he's handy coming off the left but that no.10 role is made for him. A lot of managers don't have the guts to play these sort of players in that position...all too often they are shoved out wide to accommodate more muscle in the middle. So credit to Rodgers for having the balls and foresight to do it. Smart use of Henderson in that nominal left sided position too.

I think against good teams we aren't strong enough defensively to accomodate him in the middle at the minute. I guess the deployment of Henderson wide drifting in helps but not enough for me. Certainly we should be looking to get him more central ultimately.

He's still just 20 so I don't expect the finished article but he's got plenty of players in this league to look up to and learn from. He will have games like the one against Chelsea because he's still very young and Chelsea are a good side.

Just out of interest I wonder if anyone knows what Silva and Mata were doing at the age of 20?
