Watching Coutinho's goals again, he is a tremendous model for intelligence on the ball. He is constantly testing the opposition with jab steps and shoulder fakes, which serve to show him who is retreating, cutting the wrong way, etc- he seems to always be watching the hips of the opponent and moves opposite their momentum. That little shimmy to the left before cutting right he puts on #27 in that .gif is the key to the whole thing. Just magic. Love him. Fabulous technically and his low centre of gravity gives and great balance let him ghost by players. A genuine world class potential we have on our hands.
