He was superb yesterday. Has to be a shoe in for the Brasil squad. There's not many with that sort of talent.

Listening to Tim Vickery recently he said probably not because Brazil have loads to pick from in that position. Good for us if he has a rest this summer although sad for him if he misses out on home turf.

I don't think he'll make the squad and while the summer off would be good for us I'd be sorry for him. To miss out on a home World Cup would be gutting and he totally deserves to play in it. It'd be ace seeing him being boss for Brazil in a World Cup. Hope he makes it.

Hes doing it in the toughest league in the world so for me hes as good as a lot of their forward players. His biggest downfall is neymar, in that they both play in the same position for Brasil as the main creative force. There's ganso, the little lad we were linked with, hulk who's arse expands every time i see him, Oscar who's a different type of player.

Coutinho has shown he can tear up the English premier league where traditionally smaller creative players struggle badly. Neymar has done it in Brasil where the level of the defending is the same standard as the Vauxhall conference and Spain playing for one of the best if not the best team there. Hes had one decent tournament which everyone else took as a friendly.

If coutinho doesn't get into the Brasil squad something is wrong with football. The thing in his favour is that Brasil usually take one youngster who's their next big thing even though he might not play. They did it with Ronaldo, Ronaldinho.

Having not played in Europe, he will be fresher, but the worry is he may think he needs to play on a bigger stage if he is not even making the squad.

Cheers Mostar, I love that little pass fake and run into space he does. Makes so much room for himself and then that pass is inch perfect. Love it.
