It will be disappointing if we lost Coutinho (for decent money please) but hand on heart I could survive this one in all honesty.

My main concern this season isn't if stays or goes. Its basically to to get a decent manager in. We'll find a suitable Coutinho replacement once that happens, it might even be Firmino. Klopp will know.
    One tit for another.

Like our past two summer's we will lose our best player and waste the money on total ****. Welcome to Liverpool FC 2015. Managed decline and expectations where 7th is par and ****ty sponsership deals are celebrated more than winning. As long as you can get a Dunkin doughnut at half time it's all good.

Watching our last game .. the most depressing thought was ..Coutinho ... he will be ****ing gone in 12 months ... there is no way he is going to play with this **** week in week out .... thats not to say he had a particularly good game himself.... but **** me we have lost our way a little

Play with Suarez, Messi & Neymar in Barcelona or play with Allen, Lallana & Ings at Liverpool?

Bye Phil. As soon as the big boys want him he's gone, but that'll always be the case at this club for the foreseeable as we are not not even a Champions League club. We're a Spurs or an Everton.
          Forwards.......

He has a long contract IIRC so we won't have to lose him. Not that I would blame him for wanting to go.

Problem is if we keep selling our best players, how the hell are we supposed to build for the future and remain competitive.. This is Liverpool FC one of the most iconic clubs in the world, not fcuking Wimbledon (no disrespect) for god sake. Firmino for me will probably come good once he has settle and got to grips with our league, and yeah if he does he could take the spot, but for how long until he is sold if he kicks on?

This is what I hate witnessing, having supported this club for 46 years or just over now.. It always never been just a club and always a way of live supporting Liverpool.. I simply find it soul destroying seeing the way direction both sets of American money men have taken this great institution.. One to the door of bankruptcy, the others, build the commercial side (which compared to others is **** really) and kill the main asset, the team.. If we slip any further even those sponsors will walk away. The brand is not what is was, and not what it most certainly should be.

Watching much of our football has so frustrating, bar 13/14 of course.. Even our mini run last season wasn't great, if any thing it was down right lucky at best to get the results we got and this season started as the old one ended ****.. There is no direction, no soul, not even any passion. where the hell is the desire to win.. lost it a little, fcuk me between Rodgers and Fenway we have become an has been.. from 5 to 55 ranked what the Fcuk..

Couldn't agree more Danny, I'd not blame him if he went, not the direction this club is going now... Fcuk money ball and fcuk those that support it.. It's killing this club..

I dunno. The lure of playing with the Welsh Xavi as opposed to Iniesta might hold sway here

A move to Barca is inevitable really. Would not surprise me in the slightest; it seems every year we sell a star name to subsidise signing several players.

Actually - he looks tired of being forced to carry the team and getting results - and he is stressed, so he don't dare to let any one else take responsibility. He should have a week off - and Frimino or Texeira should take his position for a few matches.

Coutinho's got a lot to do before he can even think of a move to Barcelona.

His decision making is questionable far too often, and he needs to impose himself on the game a lot more.

I think the fact he's our best player makes us hold him in very high regard, but he's not quite there yet. We have no world class players in our squad, but Coutinho can certainly make the step up if he can embrace the pressure.

I wonder if he is as highly rated by Barca and Real? He's probably the best we have, but I think he's a bit too inconsistent tbh. Couldn't see us get more than £25m for him in any case.

If the Catalan independence election goes in their favour, they will be kicked out of la Liga.

I don't think it will happen but the Spanish govt and league told barca that.

exactly we are a feeder club like most of the clubs on our level. Be interesting to see if Barca do think is he the level required to play for them. Such a talent but very inconsistent, I do thin he will be the perfect Iniesta replacement though.

Well with the dodgy deal Real Madrid got on their training ground etc years back there may be a few Madrid fans in the government who would like to see the back of Barcelona
